A central blog for thought leaders at Ohio State.
In universities, lots of people want to publish their own blog but they don't always have the time or resources to maintain them once they have them.
Buckeye Voices was initially concieved as a central place where content from university leadership —such as newspaper op-eds— could be stored. Over time, the site grew to be much more, incorporating regular and relevant posts from faculty, alumni and students. Having one blog instead of many helped to elevate the content, made it easier to keep fresh content when the authors are very busy people, and provided a fresh way to tell the story of the university.
